Lake George, NY – December 9, 2024 – Boats by George, a premier name in boating on Lake George, has made waves in the community by donating a brand-new, $90,000 Malibu Boat to the Capital District YMCA’s Camp Chingachgook. This generous gift, complete with the official transfer of the boat’s title and keys, will provide campers with an opportunity to experience Lake George and learn a multitude of water sports, including wake boarding, water skiing, and wake surfing.
The donation ceremony, held at Boats by George’s industry-leading showroom, demonstrated the shared mission of both organizations: fostering outdoor adventure, leadership, and a love for the water. The event included remarks from leadership teams at Boats by George and the Capital District YMCA, including senior executives, camp directors, and operational leaders.
