Dan Brant took care of us immediately as we walked through the showroom door. He did not put any pressure on us to buy a boat, and showed us many options for us to consider. Without me even telling him what I was looking for, he honed in on the fact that I was looking for a good deal on a used boat or leftover 2024. Rob and I had talked about buying a Cobalt for 5 years, but every time it came to “puling the trigger”, it just wasn’t the right time. Well, his wife called me and said, “call Dan at Boats by George and buy the boat that you and Rob have talked about for all these years”; so that’s what I did. I called Dan, who is simply the best, with this very unique way to buy a boat. We decided on an R6 and walked through all the different options that Rob would want and the order was placed.
June 26th we were met by Dan at Boats by George and we walked down to the docks where there were about 10 boats in the water; Rob had no idea which boat was his. We walked over to the Navy Blue R6 with the red boot stripe and white bottom and he said “I love it!” It was registered, all gassed up, and ready to go for a test drive with Dan and Rob at the helm.
I could not have had a better experience than dealing with Dan and Boats by George; what a top notch operation! To top it off, George, “the George” came down to see if we were happy with the boat and everything perfect (which is was!)
